Doctor Rosenthal (Dean of College of Business/ Director of Sustainability Celebration Day) hired our class to develop the 2023 visual identity for Thomas More University's Sustainability Day. My class participated in this contest, each person creating their own design for Sustainability Day. After we were done with our design and mockups, we presented our logo to Dr. Rosenthal where he selected a winning design. My design was chosen to be the final design of Sustainability Day at Thomas More. This project was challenging because of having previous design history by other designers and trying to capture a new look on a celebration that has been done for many years. I was also challenged with competing with my peers and wanting to have the best design. This experience was very insightful for me on how the design process works and was amazing being able to see my design on my own t-shirt.
